Bio...
Ruzz Guitar’s Blues Revue stands as one of the UK’s premier Big Band Blues acts — a powerful ensemble known for fusing fiery guitar work with the electrifying energy of swing-era brass and blues-rock grit. Based in Bristol, UK, and led by Gretsch-endorsed guitarist Ruzz Guitar, the band channels the timeless spirit of vintage blues while infusing it with modern edge and musicianship.
Formed in 2014, the band is the realization of Ruzz’s long-held musical vision: a dynamic project that brings together the swagger of Texas Blues, the sophistication of Big Band Swing, and the soul of classic American roots music. Imagine the explosive energy of The Brian Setzer Orchestra, the groove of Jimmie Vaughan, and the finesse of legends like B.B. King and Ray Charles, combined with the raw Rockabilly edge of The Paladins and Reverend Horton Heat — and you’ll begin to understand the sound of Ruzz Guitar’s Blues Revue.
